I have pretty much grown up in the church my entire life. I have served in countless ministries as I love serving and growing in different ways. I love missions …and every other way I can express love but second to none, my absolute favorite thing to do is to sit with Jesus. Like David said, “One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple.” Ps. 27:4.
Before I ever started going to church, the Lord called me, in an intimate way. I grew up praying and interceeding before I knew what praying and interceding was. Jesus is my best friend. He is my solid foundation, the rock that I lean on. And I don’t mean that in a churchy colloquialism way. I mean that He is my all and I am in love with Him. You may have just read my bio and noticed a couple of titles that I threw in there, don’t mind that. I am simply a girl that loves Jesus and wants to share His love with others. That’s it. I’m not perfect. I’m still growing but I want to share what I do know so that someone else may encounter the man that has captured my love and love Him too. He is so sweet, so enduring, so worth it. Worth a life laid down and all our affection.
I want the world to know Him, intimately.
With this being said, I do believe that balance is important. As in, we can not stay locked in our closets communing with God (as I wish I could) all day. We have to go out and interact with others, we have to experience life; the good and bad parts of it. We have to be well adjusted so that we can experience the life that God individually calls us to, the way that God wants us to. Which is why I want to share everything I can that I might help someone else. Whether it is a Word from The Lord, hair tutorial, sewing video, or cooking attempt, I want to help others be well round; I want to help others be spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically stable.
It is my true and genuine desire that you are blessed by things that I share and that you remember when I write, speak and create, it is all for His glory.
