What happens when you stay too long…
- Missed provision
- Missed protection
- Missed promises
It is dangerous to stay anywhere longer than you are suppose to. Bethlehem was good, it met a need for a season, a short season, but when it was time to go Joseph and His family had to leave. Joseph and Mary may have thought ‘but I JUST got here’. Regardless, if they would have stayed longer than they were supposed to, they would have ran out of resources, they would have been surrounded by enemies and they would have potentially lost the very thing God gave them to steward well, Jesus.
Remaining in that old place would have been a lack of trust and obedience and would have had detrimental outcomes.
When we stay anywhere too long, we miss provision, protection and the fulfillment of His promises, which He has previously gone before us and made a way for us to receive.
Therefore let’s receive all that He has for us and all that we need in the next place God leads us to and vow to never stay anywhere too long, longer than we should.
When we stay places too long we experience missed provision, protection and promises.
Therefore, do all that you can to stay in alignment with Christ and His will for your life.
There is provision in the will of God.
There is safety in the will of God.
There is fulfillment in the will of God.
