3 Reasons Why God Makes Us Wait

We all go through seasons of waiting.

Through the life of Joseph we can see that three of the reasons why The Lord may make us wait before delivering us from an uncomfortable situation are:

1. God desires to do a work WITHIN us.

(For example, God will prune and develop your character and allow for you to practice patience among the other fruit of the Spirit.)

2. God desires for us to fulfill His purpose.

(For example, God will allow for you to accomplish a work or yield to serve and help another to fulfill His will.)

3. God desires to further prepare us for what is ahead (our destiny).

(For example, if God knows marriage is ahead of you He will allow for you to grow and develop in various areas to best prepare you for it.)

It is easy to feel abandoned by the Lord during long seasons of waiting but know that that God has NOT forgotten about you and that ALL things are working together for good to those that love The Lord and are called according to His purpose. ⠀

God is working while you are waiting, and everything is working together for your good.

He is with you, He is working, and He desires that while in partnership with Him you do a work as well.

With Love,
