“Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:19-20 NKJV
The enemy attacks relationships because he knows that there is power in numbers. He knows that there is power in agreement. He knows that there is power in being united with another. Which is why we have to do what we can to live peaceable lives in relationship with the ones God leads us to join with.
We defeat the enemies attacks against relationships and his plots and schemes to divide by being aware of his tactics and, by walking in the character and nature of Jesus.
Why? Why should we put forth effort to remain connected to others in healthy relationships?
Simply put, because, we are not meant to live alone. We are not meant to live without community, friends, leadership or interpersonal connections. God has always intended for us to be in the right relationships for mutual benefit and to bring Him glory.
How are you tending to the people God has placed in your life? Are you neglecting the sheep that are under you? Are you overlooking the friend sitting in the shadows? Are you showing adoration and appreciation to those above you?
Whether it be a small text message or a quick phone call, revisit and tend to your circle today.
While you are checking on them, they will in turn bless you with what your soul really needs, genuine fellowship and the love of God.
God is present and reveals His presence when two or more come together.
Remember that we all need each other, and tend to another today. As you do so, you will see the manifestation of His presence and both you and the other party will be blessed.
We are not meant to live alone but interconnected, just as the body of Christ, described in 1 Corinthians 12:12-31.
Though the enemy would like to divide, as I mentioned earlier, you shall remain united with those God leads you to by walking in the love and in the nature of God. And, united, together you all will witness His presence and His infinite power abound.
We are better together, for together is what God desires and how He has designed it to be.
