The power of the tongue + prophecy

Okay, so I wanted to share how God reminded me that life and death are in the power of the tongue. Last week, I felt led to make a quick video and decree and declare that ‘I was believing God for a miracle and that I would see the manifestations and blessings of God in my life by the end of the day.’ This was on November 26, 2017.
Y’all about midway through the day, I saw God move. It was defiantly a miracle. It could not have been anyone other than God. It was not the in particular thing that I was believing God for that day but I feel like He was just letting me know that ‘I have heard your decree and I see you faith and I am moving on your behalf.’
So this is the point of the message, before I went to sleep on November 26th, seriously the second I was getting ready to close my eyes, I got a phone call and it was the exact thing I was believing God for. And The Lord instantly pointed out to me that I said would see the manifestations and blessings of the Lord by the end of the day – and it was sure enough by the end of the day. (It may have been a little past 11:30 P.M when I received the phone call.)
So today, God has been laying it on my heart – that we need to be specific in what we say and in what we pray. I feel like He is saying that He is answering specifics. And, some people have not prayed anything in detail.

This morning I read,
2 Chronicles 7:14
“Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.”
(which can preach by itself) but when I read it, I noticed that the verse was Jesus responding to Solomon’s prayer.
So I went back a chapter and read Solomon’s prayer, 2 Chronicles chapter 6, and verses 26 and 27 stood out to me. Solomon prayed to God and asked:
2 Chronicles 6:26-27
26 “When the heavens are shut up and there is no rain because your people have sinned against you, and when they pray toward this place and give praise to your name and turn from their sin because you have afflicted them, 27 then hear from heaven and forgive the sin of your servants, your people Israel. Teach them the right way to live, and send rain on the land you gave your people for an inheritance.
Solomon asked once the people sinned that they would turn from their wicked ways, God would teach them the right way to live and once they prayed God would answer them. And, that is exactly what God said he would do, ‘once His people humble themselves, seek Him and pray, then He would hear their cry from heaven and answer them.’ God specifically answered Solomon’s prayer.

So that is the Word, God is reminding us to be mindful of the things we say and pray. And, I feel like He wants us to test Him. A lot of us don’t pray big bold prayers because we feel like we are doing too much, or we feel unworthy, or we don’t want to bother God, but I feel like He’s calling us to pray and wants us to approach the throne of grace boldly and ask specifically for what we desire.
If we know that what we are asking for aligns with the word of God and is in His will we can wait patiently and in faith knowing that it will come to pass.

I feel like if I would have decreed that I would see the manifestations and blessings of the Lord soon and left it at that, it would not have happened on November 26th. I was very specific that I was going to see it on November 26, before the day was over.

And I feel like some people have not asked or have stopped asking for specifics because they are tired of getting their hopes up and getting let down. But I feel like God is saying, try again. Try Him again. Take Him at His word. Pray His word back to Him and be specific.

Regardless of how things look, pray and speak what you are seeking. The word says let the weak say I am strong and let the poor say I am rich.

There is life and death in the power of the tongue. Put your words to use and let them work for you.

The enemy would love for us to be silent, too afraid to talk, etc. But, we rebuke that spirit of fear and speak things that are not as though they are.

We are not speaking our own strength or in our own power but of that of Jesus who dwells in us. Jesus said in Matthew 28:18 “all power in heaven and earth belongs to me”
That means now that He dwells in us and all of His power dwells in us – we now have the same authority and power as Him. When we speak in His name, things will change.

Philippians 2:10 says “at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,”

If we have Jesus and all of His power resting in us, with Him we have all we need, we are more than conquerors with Him. We can speak – decree and declare things in His name, believe, and it shall be. We can tell mountains to move in Jesus name, and they shall. Because of Jesus Christ in us, the hope of glory.

Without Him none of this is the case.
But with Him, it is, so God is calling us to rise up and use our God-given authority and boldly pray and speak specifics in Jesus name.

And also, this is just a side note, I feel like God is saying that He is going to send markers -like landmark- to let you know that you were traveling down the right road. He says just step out in faith – and start walking and He’s going to send affirmation and confirmation along the way to let you know that you were going down the right path. But He’s going to do that as you walk. So seek Him, pray and do whatever you think He is telling you to do and as you walk – He is going to send affirmation and confirmation as landmarks to let you know you were going down the right path.

I love y’all and I hope y’all are having a blessed day,
Kendria Shanae

In Jesus name, amen.
